Default adding yeast at bottling?

Question for the vets out there.
I'm about to bottle my IIPA, right around 10% abv.
I know higher gravity brews sometimes take a bit longer to carbonate.

I'm impatient, and would like to start drinking these within a week/week and a half after bottling (mainly cuz I have people coming over that I really want to try my latest brew).

I have a small amount of yeast from my last IPA I was thinking of adding at bottling to speed up the process.

Do y'all think that's advisable?
Do you think it'll over carbonate, or should it be fine as long as I use the proper amount of priming sugar?

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
