Default 1/4" FFL Ball Valve for Regulator?

I recently purchased a dual regulator setup on eBay (got a great price for a double regulator). The low pressure side of the regulators have check valves installed. The output side of the check valve is a 1/4" MFL connector. Has anyone ran across a ball valve with a 1/4" FFL input and a hose barb output or would I be better off just removing the check valves that came with the regulator and put in a 1/4"NPT ball valve with a bulit in check valve?

I'd take out the check valve, put in the ball valve in the regulator, and put the check valve in the ball valve.
