Default Yeast Nutrient?

I am now a Gold Member. Yes, I am that cool. I have used the forum a lot so thought it was time to give back a little.

Question - going to do a small batch of cider. Here is my newbie recipie idea. Curious if I will need to throw in any yeast nutrient and how much?

3 gal of apple cider
3/4 honey
3/4 brown sugar
Champagne yeast - dry - Lavin

This is a smaller batch based some on Dead Squirrels recipie I got off her last year. Comments, concerns, questions?

Thanks for the comments.

if you have it - i would throw a teaspoon of nutrient in - it can't hurt.

I use nutrient at 1/2 tsp/gal. in my ciders. Dont know if it really helps att that much but it cant hurt. Using champagne yeast may cause a dry finish. If so you can add some potassium sorbate to inhibit yeast, then sweeten to taste with table sugar. Good luck!
