Need some help. Been brewing beer for 3+ years and now moving into cider using the WLP775 yeast. I'm experienced in making yeast starters and I've read that some people make a starter for 5gal batches of cider, but cant find info on how they actually make it. I'm going to pitch the yeast into the linked cider.

Any tips if I need a starter and how to make?

I typically don't make starters... but if you fell you need to...

Since you can get that apple juice anytime, just use a 1 gallon glass jug and pitch your yeast vial into 3 quarts of of the Musselman's Juice.
After its done fermenting, chill the whole thing in the fridge, siphon off the cider on top and repitch the yeast from the bottom into your larger batch.
I've never used the musselmans juice, but I thought it had preservatives in it that might interfere with the yeast. I looked at the walmart ad, but couldn't really read the label.
