There is ring around the top? What is that?
it's perfectly fine. it's a fermentation ring. the beer ferments and leaves a ring where it was.
1: Honey Malt APA
2: Roasted ESB (mistake by the LHBS in recipe)
3: Skeeter Pee
Fermenting: Hoegarden Saison, German Pilsner
Probably just krausen residue. If it doesn't smell bad or taste bad it is probably good.
Well, it smells good and I just tasted it. Still really sweet.
it's yeast! you should count the number of cells and thank them each personally for a job well done
Well if its are on the glass, and not in the cider, do I need to roll the carboy around to get it off the side? Sorry, first cider.
I would just leave it where it's at, there's plenty of yeasties in the cider to finish the job.
