Default What am I gonna do?

Its time for me to put my cider in a secondary, but I don't have another carboy. I'm waiting on it, but if things go the way they always seem to go with me, its not going to be here for another week. Is there any harm in it staying in primary for an extra week? Or is it possible to transfer the cider to a random set of containers and clean out the first carboy, then just put it back in the original one?

Leave it - another week isn't going to hurt anything at all

Not really, the whole process takes about the same amount of time regardless of how often and when your rack.

Oh, awesome. So then I guess the reason for racking more times is just to "filter" out all the lees?
