Default Unfiltered Cider

I used 5 gallons of unfiltered cider in my last batch. Will it ever clear? I have only ever used the cider kits from the brew shop and didn't know if it would clear or not.

It should clear. Did you use pectic enzyme it it? If not, you can take a sample of your cider, put it in a glass with about 1.5 tsp of pectic enzyme per gallon, stir it well and gently pour it back into the cider. That will really help if you have a pectin haze.

No I did not use it. I will get some and try it. Thanks for the help. Does it matter that fermentation has completed?
