Well I am about a week into my second project. I am trying my hand at a 5 gallon batch of the previous recipe. As a side note, I found bottling and letting it age for another week or so did wonders to the taste. That being said my 5 gallon batch is not as active as when it was in the 1 gallon jar. I went one step further and added raisins for yeast nutrient, and there is activity in the bucket... just not like the activity in the gallon jug.
I'm also brewing some cider in with an ale yeast, and that has been hopping with activity! Hoping both turn out well.
