Cheeses........approximately 2" thick layers of pulp encased in cheesecloth or similiar material. Stack them to fill your bucket. The thinner layers help disperse the weight.

Where did the press break? Post pictures of the failure and maybe we can simply reengineer it with the cheaper materials.

For example.....If they broke along the length use wider boards or double up on the thickness.

If they broke where they bolted to upright place vertical supports under the horizontals that go to ground.
