Default penny pincher bottling?

My family drinks alot of one liter seltzer bottles. my question is can I bottle a cider in these? The cider will probably be flat, but how much carbonation could one of these plastic bottles handle? anyone have a guess on how much priming sugar per bottle if i wanted to mildly carbonate?

Thanks

I'm sure they can handle a lot of pressure. Use them...others do.

I know the two liter bottles can handle 90 psi (won't say safely), that's about double the pressure for a typical soda and 5-6 times what you'd want for a cider. Your best bet is to prime before bottling.
