Default Kegging Cider

Hi All, I'm positve this has been discussed somewhere at some point!
I'm going to be kegging a batch of cider soon and I want it to be a touch sweeter than usual I was thinking to......
Add 2 or 3 cans of apple concentrate to the keg with the cider then carb???
My question is, will I need to add sulfate/sorbate or will it being in the fridge be enough to keep the yeast at bay?
Thanks

Depends on how fast you expect to drink it. If you chill it first, then add the concentrate and keep it chilled, it will be okay for 2-3 months. Cider often takes longer than that to mellow.

also depends on the yeast. lager yeast obviously won't mind the chill. the ale yeasts that most people around these parts use will go pretty dormant. wild yeast is a wild card, anything is possible, i have had some ferment pretty vigorously in the fridge.
if i were you i would mix up a glass with the appropriate amount of concentrate and sorbate to see if you can detect the flavor, some find it nasty tasting. i use 1/2 the recommended dose (1 teaspoon per 10 L; i often rant against using volume measurements for powders but that's what i do) and can't taste it in a back sweetened keg a month after dosing. but now i only sulfite/sorbate if i am planning on leaving the keg at room temp for some time (after sweetening obviously). if it's going right into the fridge then i don't bother, and with safeale04 it has been fine
