Mines been going strong for almost a week. Is this normal for cider. Also. Will pectic enzyme clear the cider If I heated the honey before mixing in?

What was your SG and what temp are you fermenting at? My Ciders always go much longer than beer. In addition it will take longer because of the honey. How much did you put in?

I have a plain cider right now that had a hurricane swirl on the top for about 3 weeks at 62ºF. It's calmed down now at 33 days. On the other hand I have a Graff that made a krausen ring...fell...and now has little or no activity after 10 days.

I swear honey takes longer to eat than the sugars do. Depends on the yeast also.
