Default Hopped Cider

I'm Thing of maybe hopping my next cider, I;m not sure with what type of hops but i bet it will be interesting. Has anyone tried anything like this yet? if so what did it turn out like?

3 Gal Primary- clean

3 Gal cider Carboy- clean

Secondary- American raspberry Wheat

Kegged/Bottled- American raspberry Wheat, American Wheat

I'd start with a half gallon batch. I suppose you're going to make a small hop tea to add to the juice?

BARF! Not quite that bad, but bad. Tried dryhopping 2L with some Perle. Dumped it.

Well then maybe i will scratch this whole idea and wait to see what my cinnomon/ brown sugar cider i am fermenting!!!!

Cinnamon/brown sugar cider is good stuff, so if apfelwein. Leave hops to the beer-brewers, think of cider more like the wine-makers and the mead-makers as far as additions and blending is concerned.

This is the point of these boards, throwing out an idea and having other people tell you if it works or not, from their own personal experience. It's a beautiful thing.
