but the recipe called for corn sugar and we couldnt find it anywhere so we just used regular can sugar will this affect the outcome???

slightly... it will take a little longer to clear, and will be slightly sweeter...

can anyone inform me where i can purchase corn surgar? Krogers didnt have any.

You can get corn sugar at any LHBS. I've never seen it anywhere else.

I use regular sugar in my wines and ciders and never had a problem. Regular cane sugar ferments out and will not leave it sweeter than corn sugar would, assuming you use comparable amounts (the same sg will ferment the same amount, is what I'm trying to say, if that makes sense).
