I haven't heard of film yeasts. I thought yeasts always live in the liquid. Acetobacter lives in a film on the surface because it needs o2. Prevention involves keeping o2 away from the cider and good sanitation.
Maybe you mean movies about yeast, a genre I'm not familiar with.
Best avoided by topping up your carboy, and avoiding jarring the liquid in any way.
