LOL... It works great if you want to make vinegar....

In my case, I was trying to be lazy.... It's a whole lot easier to grind up the apples, dump some K-meta, and then yeast than it is to press it all out by hand when you have no press.....

After the 3rd batch - I swore off of doing it that way unless I want to make more vinegar....

As an aside - I bottled the 1st 2-gallons of home made vinegar (that came from fermenting on the pomace) last night.... Pretty strong stuff!

Ahaha Was that intentional vinegar? I have always wondered about making it, but thought one time I would screw up a cider and the decision would be made for me , not yet though (knock on wood).

Nope.... I was trying to make cider.... Sometimes life gives you cider... Sometimes it's vinegar...
