I would look at the nutrition info on the package. Find out how many grams of carbohydrates are in each unit of volume (say mLs). Than convert from the amount of corn sugar that you would use.

4oz sugar to prime * 28.3g / 1oz * Xg of sugar / 1 mL of concentrate = mL of concentrate that are equivalent to 4oz of corn sugar.

Assuming the sugar in apple juice are 100% fermentable this should work well.

I have heard (never tried myself) that one can of concentrate is about right for 5 gallons. I have also heard that two cans is "safe", if you like a lot of bubbles.

I use about 3/4 of a can of frozen concentrate.

I've used 1 whole can, and it came out similar to the 3/4" cup of corn sugar. At least as far as mouthfeel.

Its a nice way to make a genuine "all apple" batch, and the juice is cleanly fermentable (unlike using DME).

For me, I'll use the can if I have one. Depends on the style I'm going for.

What size can of frozen concentrate are you using? 8 oz or 16 oz?
