Default Cider is in Season!!

I am picking up the first batch of fresh pressed cider for the season in Michigan. Keep your eyes open it is that time of year again

I'll have to call our local orchard (one of them, there are several nearby) to see how the crop is. Here in Southwest Missouri, we had a bad ice storm that killed all kinds of trees, then had a freeze just when we thought the worst of winter was over. I know it hurt the blackberry, blueberry and raspberry crop here, but maybe the apples fared a little better

I'm kind of itching to make another batch...
Still waiting for last year's batch (10 gallons) to age to perfection though...
