Default carbonating

I have a 1 gal batch of cider fermenting now for about 3 weeks. When it comes time to bottle I plan on using recycled chapainge bottles. What method should I use for Carbonating? apple juice? Corn Sugar? and how much?

First off make sure it is fully fermented out. .998 or lower. Carbonating sweet cider is difficult to avoid bottle bombs. I personally like sweet cider, so I force carb.

As for bottle carbing dry cider, i just use carb tabs or drops. You get no off flavors from the small amount of sugar they consist of. You can also bulk prime with dextrose just like you would with beer.
