Well, I have four batches of EdWort's Apfelwein going. One is the original recipe. The others use different yeast. The one in the picture below used a dry wheat yeast. It’s been sitting for almost three weeks and I haven’t paid any attention to it. Apparently the fruit fly’s have. They must have liked the appley smell. Not sure how they got in the little holes in the airlock, but I’m hoping that the vodka in there kills anything bad that they might be carrying. At least I have a name for it. Bug Juice!
