Default bottling

Do you bottle cider the same as beer, in beer bottles with regular bottle caps?

Beer bottles are commonly used for cider. Woodchuck is just one example. Bottling choice usually comes down to carbonation and personal preference. I prefer wine bottles for aesthetic reasons, but only for non-carbonated beverages. A wine cork will be pushed out if it's carbonated. If it's carbonated, you need a closure that will hold the pressure, such as capped beer bottles, Grolsch type bottles, etc. If it's highly carbonated, champagne bottles are commonly used to hold the higher pressure.
