5 gal apple juice
2# frozen boysenberries
2# mixed berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)
10 oz bag of craisens
2# light brown sugar
2 cans apple concentrate

Cote des Blanc yeast

Primary 2 weeks
Secondary 2 months

Prime and bottle 3weeks

Soooo looking forward to this.

This looks like an interesting batch. I'm not sure you'll be able to pick out any particular berry character, though. Good luck

I have something very similar to this going now, been in secondary almost a month gonna bottle soon. I used a pound more berries though. But i love using the côte des blancs for my ciders. Since these are pretty close Im sure yours will be just as delicious as mines turning out to be! Heres what my last gravity sample looked like.

A single berry flavor is not what I'm looking for. More of a spin-away from straight apple. My buddy just made a peach cider.

4 gal apple juice
2 large cans of peaches (64oz at least, the really big ones) puréed
2 lbs of table sugar

Cote des Blanc yeast (finishes sweeter)

Primary 2 weeks
Secondary 2 months
Bottle 3 weeks

Hope this turns out well too

That is a great looking sample. U used a lb more berries than I did? Why is yours so light. My berry cider REALLY dark. Wine dark hahaha

That samples from the top after sitting a few weeks, seems a lot of the fruit stuff kinda hangin out in the middle and bottom. Only my third cider so I think its normal lol. Tasting good though.
