Default Background info on antique apples

I googled up an article from Smithsonian magazine from Nov 2002:

http://www.smithsonianmagazine.com/issues/2002/november/apples.php

bit I don't think it goes in to ABV or efficiency...

I don't think I've ever had a Limbertwig. At least, not that I wanna talk about.

So far, I've had more experience thinking than I've had brewing....you don't think they are mutually exclusive, do you?

57 batches so far,
33 wine, mostly Loquat, peach, plum, prickly pear
22 beers and ciders
1 sauerkraut
1 Tequila, from a prickly pear wine experiment that didn't work. I call it "Prickly Heat"

We have an antique apple orchard close to my house (it's in New berlin for you cheese heads, about 50 yeards west of CTH Y and CTH ES, north side of the road) I have been meaning to look into just for cider . . . maybe I'll have to get off my lazy duff and check into it
