Default Apparently I wanted a still cider.

Bottled my first cider batch today. I didn't want to water it down much, so I boiled my priming sugar in just a teeny bit of water and it came out pretty thick. Into the bottling bucket it goes and i rack in my cider. Give it a little swirl to make sure it's mixed without mixing in air and start bottling. I finish bottling and capping and go to clean out the bucket. What do I find? Pretty much all my priming sugar solution glued to the bottom of the bucket. I'm not gonna uncap them all and pour them together to try again, I'll just take this as a learning experience.

Oops! I've started dissolving my priming sugar in a bit of the final product rather than fresh water.

Instead of pouring them all back together you could uncap and add in just a squirt of priming sugar into each bottle.

I'd give that a try except I'm using salvaged bottles so none of them are the same size. If I did, how much table sugar in solution would I add to an individual bottle?

[(priming sugar)/(total ounces of batch)] X (size of your bottle in ounces).

Even with assorted bottles your should only have a few different sizes.
