On the bright side, after this batch which is less sweet than AO my wife thinks its to sweet but she still likes it way better. Maybe I'm short on acid and its not balancing the sweet, either way I'm learning and the less added sugar the better for us.

I finally broke down and picked up a 6're of the Crisp this past weekend. I drank them all before I could get a Gravity Reading on it. They have a nice tart pucker to them, but I tend to agree with some on here that it's still a mass produced taste. I think my hard cider using sto'bought AJ comes in as good. The AO has a slight bit more complexity, but I personally don't think it's worth almost $10 a 6 pack. Well, I don't think ANY commercial brew is worth that much if you can make something at home that's close.

Good luck with the clone! Hope to hear how it turns out.

Just picked up some new AO release called Elder Flower. I'll take a reading on it tonight and post the results.

Iceman and Strawman are completely different animals from the regular AO.
I don't like the sweet ciders that angry orchard produces but then I tried to Strawman and I was pleasantly surprised
