Default Aging question

I started a batch of cider last October from home pressed apples. I put about 2 ounces of Medium toast American Oak chips in it April 16th and removed them today.

Should I age the cider a while longer in the carboy, or go ahead and bottle it and let it age in the bottle?

Is it clear? I think you should be right!

Oldmate
Do you think it is better to age in the bottle or the carboy.

The cider is clear.

I would age it in the carboy, unless you want to free up your carboy. If you started your cider in Oct - you are fine to bottle. I would add 1 camden tablet per gallon at bottling.

Did you taste it? That is a long time to leave in the oak.

I would also age it in the carboy, but it is up to you. I would sulfite it and leave it for another 2 months in bulk aging for a better and more consistant taste between bottles.

Thanks
I did taste it and it has mellowed out a lot from before I put the oak in. I tasted it at 2 weeks and again this week. The carboy is not a problem.
