Default Where to get DAP?

I'm interested in making a mead, but all the resources I've found on making mead recommend a DAP addition at the beginning of fermentation and another at the 1/3 or 1/2 way point. Is Fermaid-K good enough for both nutrient additions? Is Fermaid-K and DAP the same thing?

I wouldn't worry to much about finding DAP (Diammonium phosphate), Fermaid-K will do the job as it contains it anyway.
However adding it in stages throughout the brew is a new one on me but I don't brew much mead.
Put up a link to that info if you can, I'd like to read more.

Thanks myersn024 for posting it - It's not a bad article by any means but I wouldn't over fuss with it's finer points with your first mead.
Honey choice, yeast type, plus acid (and of course some yeast nutrient ) will determine the results you want based on meads you've drunk and want to re-create
