I just made my first batch of mead the other day and I used hightest (sorry if not spelled right) recipe from his sticky for a basic mead. I did stage 1 and stage 2 nutrients with no problem. Stage 3 is supposed to be O.G.+T.G./2. My problem is that I have no clue what T.G. stands for. Thanks in advance.
Secondary: Apfelwein, Pear Wine, Traditional Honey Mead
Bottled: Shot In The Dark, Drunken Emu Mississippi River Water, Skeeter Pee, Simple Hefe, Oatmeal Stout
Future: Drunken Emu Hard Cider
T.G. stands for Terminal Gravity, also know as Final Gravity (FG). This is the specific gravity reading taken after fermentation has been completed (or in this case, the anticipated specific gravity once fermentation is complete.)
On Deck: Motor Oil Barleywine, Cider Trials, Vanilla Cream Ale, California Blonde Primary: Cotton Blossom Traditional Mead, 1744 Porter (Ale-ian Society Club Brew), Old Ale Secondary: Peach Wine, Cranberry Cider Kegged: Christmas Ale, YHC English Summer Ale On Tap: Nothing :( Bottled: Yup still nothing...
