Default what is the best way to strain the fruit from the primary to the secondary?

what is the best way to strain the fruit from the primary to the secondary?

I should have used a grain bag but was in a hurry and did not.

any suggestions?

it is a triple berry Melomel. 15 pounds of fruit.

Do you want to move the fruit from primary to secondary, or remove it entirely? If the latter, why not just rack? If the former, rack, then scoop it out with a slotted spoon or something.

I had a spiggot in my fermentation bucket, so I just opened it and the berries and yeast cake stayed at the bottom. But... with that much berries... don't think it'd work

You could try googleing "Syphon Screen" I got a lot of junk links, but some of the links were to home brew store websites that sell a screen that fits over your syphon end.

It looks like it is just a stainless steel screen bent to fit over a tube. look like it should be a 3 or 4 inches long, probably to keep it in place.
