Default Should take my own advice!

I FEEL LIKE A NOOB....Ok...So maybe I am.
Is it possible that D47 Crapped out at 10.14% in a show mead with Nutrient AND Energizer?

Brewed 4-26-08
9# Honey
water to fill 3 gallon bucket
3 tsp Nutrient
1.5 tsp energizer
Lalvin D-47
No heat method, well oxygenated via shaking at ever step.
O.G. 1.102
Gravity at racking...1.024

I know...RDWHAHB....and all that...But dang I want a clear batch of mead bigger than 1 gallon

D-47 is good for more than 10%. Your batch should be dry like an old bone. I have seen cases where a mead will slow way down for no observable reason and take 6-8 months to finish. Has the temperature changed lately?
