Default Should i rack to another secondary?

my mead has been in my 5g carboy for 2 months. should i rack to another secondary? planning on leaving it in there for a long time. not sure if its safe to leave it in the same one for months at a time

I would say it would depend on the amount of lees in the bottom. If they are 1/4 or more, Rack.

You can but I don't think you have to.
Like BK says, if you have a significant amount of trub then rack. Otherwise you can leave it were it is.

I often only transfer my meads from primary to secondary at about a month, then leave them there until I bottle.

ok cool, there's barely any sediment on the bottom so i guess I'm good
