Default Sell me a bottle or two of mead?

Hey guys so I tried making a few batches of mead over the past few years and just opened up a bottle from a few years back and it doesn't taste like I expected it would. It just occurred to me that I haven't ever actually tried mead so I have no idea how it should smell/taste. Would any of you be willing to sell me a bottle or two of your homemade mead so I could get a better understanding?

You'd be better placed looking locally to you.

Most places requires considerable licensing for sales, plus it's likely a breach of T's & C's of these forums........

A lot of commercial meads are quite sweet i.e. in the "dessert wine" category. Yet there are licensed sales out there that will do varying levels of sweet and dry. It just depends where you are........

B Nektar, Schramm, etc etc are names that come to mind.......

If you can find someone local to you who makes mead, you could have them taste yours. They could then possibly give you some insight into what, if anything, you did wrong.

Either that, or buy some fancy craft beers and offer up a trade for someones homemade mead. I don't think selling homebrew is something most home fermentors will be comfortable with.

Selling homebrewed alcohol is illegal in the USA. Your best bet would be to check your local liquor stores, craft beer & wine shops, and online purveyors. Here's a list of commercial meaderies:
