Default Raspberry Syrup?

I've got 24lbs of Orange Blossom honey and I am planning on a dry petilant sack mead using Cuvee yeast and a sweet sparkling raspberry melomel using D-47.

Has anyone seen or used Raspberry Syrup? I found this stuff for $4/bottle. What I bought is the same stuff except it Raspberry. The ingredients are listed as: Raspberry juice & sugar.

The bottles are 33.8fl oz and I bought 4 of them. I was figuring two in the primary and two in the secondary.

Thoughts?

Thought #1 = COOL.

Thought #2: Sweet + Sparkling +D-47 isn't very likely. You'd need pretty low alcohol, and you'll need to use some sort of nonfermentable sweetener. Or you'll need to Keg, Force Carb, then bottle...but I'm afraid that if I ever got Mead on tap....I might never want to be without it.

Thought #3:
I'm gonna get some of that syrup.

RE Thought #2: I do plan to keg my meads and force carb. So killing the yeast with campden tablets is OK, and I can back sweeten if needed. I do have a beer gun so I plan on filling up some 12-22 Oz flip tops that I've been saving.

RE Thought #3: After I got home I did some internet searching and there wasn't much to be found. But if you have any questions about it fire away and I'll try my best to answer them. The store that I was at had two different brands/types of this syrup.

Once of them had about 8-10 different types of the syrup but those all had some extra ingredients that I didn't recognize plus they all had citric acid which I wasn't sure about.

The Adro brand came in the following flavors: Raspberry, Black Currant, Strawberry and Sour/Tart Cherry. I wish they had blackberry but alas they didn't.

I was going to purchase some of the Blackberry Vintners Fruit Wine base but at $30/96 Oz can I went with this stuff.

Holy ****! I just tasted this Raspberry syrup and it is amazing! I think 2 bottles might be all I need for this batch. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll mail you some.

Cheers!
