Pellicle in Mead?

Has anyone ever had a pellicle form in their mead? I'll upload a picture as soon as I can, but I have a feeling it came about when I took a gravity reading yesterday. It had already been in primary for a little longer than a month, with a drop from 1.130 to 1.040.
There were no floaters or anything to speak of before yesterday.
