If you're looking for an apprentice, aren't the job requirements supposed to be a little less exacting i.e. something above zero experience and a desire to learn ?

Rather than what reads like a requirement for PhD level meadmaking knowledge (or maybe Ken Schramm)?

Surely someone who can fit the criteria is likely to be a little older than one who would normally fit the "apprentice" bill ?

I can always count on you to spin up a thread!
A little extreme on the comparison there but okay lol. Maybe "apprentice" isn't the best descriptor, or maybe the list of requirements is more of a list of attributes I wish the candidate to have EVENTUALLY.

Either way, the point is I could use help NOW (but unable to pay) from someone with a genuine passion for mead and mead making, with the intentions of making that person full time LATER.

I believe you're seeking an unpaid intern. And where were you 2 weeks ago when I was unemployed? I'd have sold everything to sign on.

Well, we are in NJ after all... so nothing's going to be easy! I long ago decided that if I ever actually go through with opening a brewpub it will not be in NJ, I'm just not going to deal with the cost of a liquor license in this state. It's absurd, when other states have a set annual fee that is actually affordable for a small startup.

I'll keep my eyes out for the opening, and look forward to meeting you!
