Default this is my first apple mead.

maybe i didn't mess it up. Here's what i put in it.

1 gallon apple juice(Flavorite) pasteurized.

1 1/2 pound honey

1 teaspoon of yeast nutrients

1/2 teaspoon of pectic enzyme

1 teaspoon of acid blend

1 pack of red star cuvee

SG was 1.090 looks like milk just after one day. it's work like a pressure cooker through the air lock. i'm thinking of putting some spices in it later.

You keep going I'm not going to be able to give the positive response....

At this point, Leave it alone. You'll have a nice starting point and it's still simple enough you'll be able to identify the different flavors. If you get too much junk in it........You never know what you're going to come up with.

Save your raisins for a JOAM or something.
