i have some left over Muntons Active Brewing Yeast. i didn't use from an earlier batch of beer. would this yeast work in a mead. or since its a beer yeast would the flavors be off.

Don't know about muntons--I have a (small) mead going using Nottingham left over from a cider. It's working fine.
i am planning on doing a 1 gal batch i'm just hoping it doesn't affect the flavor.
All yeast affect the flavor, more or less. Question is HOW it affects the finished product.
