Default Mead carbonation

I'm looking forward the starting my first mead, using one of the awesome sounding recipes on this forum. I would like my mead to have some level of carbonation, but maybe not as much as a champagne. How much sugar should I add before bottling? What should I bottle in?

I use this page to calculate carbonation http://www.northernbrewer.com/priming-sugar-calculator/ it is for beer but I'm sure if you figure out the level of carbonation you want it should be useful. If you're going to carbonate use bottles and crown caps, swing tops or champagne bottles with champagne corks.

I have a couple of batches I am thinking would be nice carbonated..... Normally make naturally carbonated beer but am thinking mead will be a little more difficult since I typically like sweet meads.... Because of this am planning on doing forced carbonation and going the corny keg route....

Anybody have any experience/wisdom that you could share to keep me out of trouble?
