Default mead boost?

hello this is my first mead post, just wanted to ask if there is any way i can boost my alcohol level while it is still fermenting, i did a 3 gallon batch and its sg wasn't as high as i wanted it 1.077 and it will finish off at around 9-10% but want more out of it any chance?

Add more honey, don't wait for fermentation to poop out though. You might have trouble getting it to pick up again.

Another possibility: Pour vodka/neutral grain spirits (aka everclear) into it.

I'd go with both, chuck a pound of honey into it and some organic nitrogen source (yeast hulls or something like that), then as long as it keeps fermenting, add small amounts of honey at a time, until it poops out, then go for the vodka/everclear etc etc.....

Oh and then let it age, as high alcohol meads can often taste medicinal/mouthwash.... but that ages out eventually.....

Add more honey, though you might consider using SNA's: http://home.comcast.net/~mzapx1/FAQ/SNAddition.pdf
I wouldn't add vodka/neutral spirits to a mead. That's my 2 cents worth. Regards, GF.
