I just changed from blow-off hose to S-airlock tonight and filled with Star-San and have had to refill 3 times in less than 3 hours. I take it I should have left hose on. Beer is on 3 days fermenting.
I use blow off until fermentation slows...3-7 days. then toss on an airlock. no worries
