Hi Gil,
Here's a site, actually another forum, that not only has recipes for Mead, but for Beer and wine. The forum has many participants and there is a lot good info on the site.

Hi. I just started a green tea braggot this evening and I've got a three week old blueberry melomel in another primary.

As far as forums go, the one given above is fairly active. So is this one: http://forum.northernbrewer.com/

And this one: http://www.beertools.com/forum/index.php

And this one: http://www.thebrewhut.com/TBHforum.net/

The Barkshack Ginger Mead from the Papazian book is excellent.

You can not use the ginger if you wish.

I still have 2 bottles left from 1996!
