Ok i racked my mead today and i took a gravity reading on both of them. my sweet mead og was at 1.140 now after 5 weeks it has dropped to 1.090! so about 10 points per week. now my second small batch mead its a Dwójniak 1 gal batch made the same day as my sweet mead its og was at 1.175 it is now at 1.150 but its still pretty active so i have to wait maybe about 3 more months then i will rack again off the lees but the Dwójniak will stay for maybe a year.
