Well, I've had the ingredients laying around for a while and I finally got around to doing it after whipping up 2 batches of Apfelwein.
I now have 6 gallons of Strawberry Melomel fermenting away in a 7 gallon bucket. I used about 12 pounds of honey and 6# can of strawberry wine base and Wyeast Dry Mead yeast.
It came in at 1.082. Smells wonderful.
