Default First Mead Mayhem

It's been 3 months in the primary bucket for my first semi sweet mead. When do I transfer?

When it's done fermenting? If it's done fermenting, what's the point of secondary [fermentation]? Do you go right to clearing after primary?

Its done fermenting when you reach FG and its constant for atleast 3 days. Secondary fermentation is misnormer. There should be no fermentation in secondary vessel, its for aging and clarifying
