Default First Mead

I didn't tons of homework on mead while I was in Afghanistan this past 5 months. I'm slowly getting back into beer brewing and wanted to fill up this little one gallon jug I got. Joe's mead is what I decided on since everyone says its easy, hard to mess up, and a little faster to age than most meads. Everything went smooth until I almost pushed the stopper through the opening of the jug. Coat hanger to the rescue....Thanks to all that answered questions on this forum, because they have been a great help
