Default Clover vs Wildflower Honey

What's the difference. Other than the obvious, one is made from Wild flowers and the other is made from Clovers. I also noticed that most (95%) of the honey in the store is clover. Is this because of the region I'm in?

Thanks

clover is the most common variety in the united states.

wildflower just means a variety of different native flowers/blossoms are the source of the honey.

differently blossoms will impart different flavors in the honey.

I think its more important to get good honey... not supermarket stuff. There are flavor differences between clover and wildflower, but you'll notice more of a difference if you get good honey from an apiary.

Good advise!. I have a coworker that keeps bees, and will see if I can get back in touch with him and get some honey from him.

Thanks.

If you have a connection like that you're quite fortunate!
