Default Clearing mead

I've got a six-month old mead and it hasn't cleared at all yet, but fermentation has long since ended. What is the best way to clear such a mead?

You can use a fining agent like isinglass or Irish moss- that's the most preferable way.
Worst case scenario, you may have to filter it, but make that your last option.

Would any of the popular fining agents work about the same (bentonite, isinglass, etc.)? Thanks for the help!

You can try cold crashing it by putting it in the fridge for a few days, then racking it to a new carboy. Be careful to rack it as soon as you take it out (if it warms up it might go back to being cloudy) and don't jostle or bump it. The sediment will probably be unstable.

I'd try the cold crashing first, and then sparkeloid if that doesn't work.
