Anyone can make STRONG mead/beer, but is it enjoyable to drink?
Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.
I make good flavorful meads with only 1/2 gal of honey (about 6 lbs) for 5 gals. I've used 15 lbs also, but only rarely.
I would rather have 2 good meads than one that is too strong to enjoy/questionable for drinking?
