I made 5, 1 gal batches of Mead using 4 different yeasts. It's only my second batch of Mead so I am looking for some feedback as to what my finished products might be like. The details of each gal are as follows:
1. Safale Us-05 OG 1.075
2. Nottingham OG 1.085
3. Lalvin D47 OG 1.090
4. Monthrachet OG 1.095
5. Lalvin D47 OG 1.115
I warmed water just enough to dissolve the honey well, treated each gal with 1 campden tab and 1/2 tsp yeast energizer. Let sit for 24 hrs, then piched.

I didn't measure specific amounts. Just kept adding honey until I reached my desired OG's. No other ingredients. Just honey and water.

How did these turn out? I'm really curious! Did you use your fruit/other flavourings in the secondary?
