Default Joining from Alberta

I've been homebrewing for about two months now - I primarily started HB to make wine, however, I've started doing beer from extracts and all-grain kits as well.

Anyway, just wanted to give a quick 'hey' to the community.

Hello!

You're not from Rural Alberta, are you?

No, I can't really claim to be from Rural Alberta. I grew up about an hour away from Edmonton on a hobby farm, but ultimately, it wasn't really the same as some of the people I know from a 'real' Rural area.

I'm not really close to Montana, being more or less in the middle of the province.

Hehe, I was trying to make a silly joke related to a band from Alberta. They're called the Rural Alberta Advantage, and they're fantastic. Currently my favorite band. They have a song about some huge bridge in Lethbridge.

Can't say I've ever been to Alberta myself, but I have a friend from Edmonton and always speaks highly of it.

If you haven't hooked up with them, there's a great club in Edmonton:

Edmonton Homebrewers Guild

-Cheers!
